Van Wijnen has a clear mission: to accelerate the transition of neighbourhoods away from natural gas. To support this approach, MSTR developed an innovative AI solution that automates neighbourhood research and the drafting of sustainability plans. This provides Van Wijnen with significant cost and time savings in the crucial initial phase of their projects.
Van Wijnen focuses on realizing sustainable and future-proof neighbourhoods in collaboration with various partners. Their innovative, data-driven method plays a key role in making Dutch neighbourhoods free from natural gas, particularly by transforming and redeveloping existing real estate.
Challenge
Sustainable development of neighbourhoods, specifically making them free of natural gas, presents a complex and time-consuming research task. Van Wijnen faced the challenge of processing enormous amounts of diverse data: from textual reports to visual analyses, and from statistical data to graphs.
Manually conducting this in-depth research was so intensive that it became a significant bottleneck. Van Wijnen had to choose between scaling up personnel or finding a more efficient technological solution for process optimisation.
Solution
The solution for Van Wijnen consists of two complementary components:
Automation of the research: We have deployed advanced AI Research Agents and Scraping Bots to efficiently analyze public sources. Through smart data analysis, various databases, including demographic and other relevant data, are connected. This ensures a rapid, accurate, and automated collection and analysis of all necessary information for neighbourhood sustainability.
Automated reporting: Based on the collected and analysed data, we automate the entire process of reporting and documentation. This includes generating detailed sustainability plans and other required project documents. The result is a fully automated research and reporting process. This allows Van Wijnen to take on more projects, save significant costs in the crucial lead phase, and strengthen their position as an innovative real estate developer.
