WDW Development Management (Van Wijnen) has a clear mission: to accelerate the transition to natural gas-free areas. To support this mission, MSTR developed an innovative AI solution that automates area research and sustainability plan creation. This solution provides WDW with significant cost and time savings during the crucial initial phase of their projects.
WDW focuses on creating sustainable and future-proof areas in collaboration with various partners. Their innovative, data-driven method plays a key role in making Dutch neighbourhoods natural gas-free, particularly by transforming and redeveloping existing real estate.
Challenge
Making areas more sustainable, specifically making them gas-free, brings a complex and time-consuming research task. WDW faced the challenge of processing enormous amounts of diverse data: from textual reports to visual analyses, and from statistical data to graphs.
This in-depth research was so time-consuming when done manually that it created a significant bottleneck. WDW had to choose between hiring more personnel or finding a more efficient technological solution to optimize the process.
Solution
The solution for WDW consists of two complementary components:
Automation of the research: We have deployed advanced AI Research Agents and Scraping Bots to efficiently analyze public sources. Through smart data analysis, various databases, including demographic and other relevant information, are linked. This ensures a fast, accurate, and automated collection and analysis of all necessary information for neighbourhood sustainability.
Automated reporting: Based on the collected and analyzed data, we automate the entire process of reporting and documentation. This includes generating detailed sustainability plans and other required project documents. The result is a fully automated research and reporting process. This allows WDW to take on more projects, save significant costs in the crucial lead phase, and strengthen their position as an innovative real estate developer.
