Job Description

As a Back-end Developer at MSTR, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing robust, scalable back-end solutions. You will work with different types of data and systems to create valuable solutions that help our clients increase productivity. You will actively participate in projects spanning sectors such as construction, real estate, legal, financial services, software development, and government.

You are responsible for designing, building, and integrating APIs and back-end services that support and make our AI solutions accessible. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, data scientists, and AI engineers to deliver integrated and effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing back-end systems and services.

• Designing and building RESTful APIs to make AI solutions accessible to other systems.

• Integrating AI solutions into cloud platforms such as Azure.

• Optimizing existing back-end infrastructure for scalability and performance.

• Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to successfully complete projects.

• Independently taking up and executing projects.

• Proactively identifying problems and proposing innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Back-end Developer.

• Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages, Python is a must.

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs (e.g., with Flask or FastAPI).

• Familiarity with databases (relational and/or NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.

• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS) is a plus.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker is an advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and creative thinking.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.

• Fluent in Dutch and comfortable with English.
